I learned from “The Giving Tree.” Shel Silverstein is an amazing poet/author and as a kid I absolutely loved his books. TGT showed me a thing or two about how to give of myself and love people no matter what their attitude, circumstances, etc. My wife is an amazing example of giving herself to anyone and everyone in need. She spurs me on to be a better person and man of God.

As I think about this idea is makes me wonder, “What am I giving to God? How is my life a sacrifice that is handed to God as a tool to reach people far form God?” My life has to be in constant evaluation as I strive to serve him, but screw up all along the way. Thank God for His grace.
