Rainn Wilson, one of my favorite actors from "The Office," has launched his very own website. But, it's quite different than the normal, "Hey, look at me and the the pics & videos of myself" type of site.
It's called, "Soul Pancake" and it features a community driven, online discussion about faith & spirituality. Not exactly what I would have imagined from the quirky sitcom star, but I think it's a great idea. After speaking with my sister, who did an interview with him; I know he's a spiritual guy to a certain extent. I'm not too clear on his belief system/values... but it's worth taking a look into.

I'm not a big "Office" fan, but this guy's pretty funny, and the site looks cool. Nice find.3/18/2009 7:14 PMRainn's a member of the Baha'i faith, which the article I did on him last year was partly about. (He was doing charity work with the Tahirih Justice Center which is affiliated with Baha'i). His parents raised him that way and we talked a little about his faith during when we met. I added the link to my blog the day he launched it (which he advertised meticulously on his Twitter page). I think, if anything, it will give young people a forum to talk about religion and life's questions in a forum almost geared towards a secular genre.
