Got another email from Dan Pollard this evening. Here is the latest update from the team:
We're in Hanoi as I write this and we'll be heading home in a couple of hours. You already know how awesome the trip has been. I can't possibly describe it in an email. This year is my 10th year as part of the Forefront family and I can tell you without hesitation that the last ten years have been the best and most transforming years of my life. Then, to be able to serve with people like Monica Laurendeau, Crystall Petersen, Becky Bruner, Michelle Jamison, and my best friend Dan Nichols in this environment has been an honor. Our church is full of leaders, soon to be leaders, and awesome people.
Mostly though, we have a church of people who love people and it comes out in the many ways they all serve one another and most importantly the world around us. I'm humbled, I'm so fortunate, and I learn something in each new experience. When we get home, go have coffee or lunch with one of these awesome people and let them tell you about what it was like. Thank them and hug them - they were amazing in everyway. They have my complete admiration and respect. They are also very fun, very funny, and awesome to hang out with. I'm in awe.
