Recession Proof Your Life: Step 1

One of the ways you can save a ton of money is to downgrade your cable or completely get rid of it and move viewing your favorite shows to the web. Many of the biggest networks and shows are available for free on their individual websites or places like Hulu.

Times are tough, and any way you and I can take steps to put away a little cash money... that's a good thing.

    After moving into our new house a few months ago, we made the decision to not go with cable...we watch a few shows in the internet and a lot of movies (having a 1 yr. old is also time consuming and entertaining). We couldn't bring ourselves to spend so much money on cable when so many people in our church and community are scratching for money to stay fed and sheltered.
